Avis Continues Local Market Expansion With Seven New Locations in the Southeast

Free Pick-up and Drop-off Service Within a Five-Mile Radius

PARSIPPANY, N.J., July 28 -- Avis Rent A Car System, Inc. today announced the opening of seven new car rental facilities as part of its commitment to expand into local markets nationwide. Avis has opened 25 local rental facilities throughout the U.S. since January.

The new locations, situated in: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, provide Avis customers with a wide range of rental vehicles including mini-vans, SUVs and luxury vehicles. All vehicles are backed by the Avis commitment to provide outstanding customer service and include free pick-up and drop-off service within a five-mile radius, roadside assistance and, in most cases, unlimited mileage. All Avis rate plans will be honored, including special inter-city, one-way rates with no drop-off charges between these locations and the airport. Avis also offers an insurance replacement program designed for customers who need a replacement vehicle because their own car is in the shop.
