Universal Technical Institute, Inc. Begins Automotive Training in Two New Locations

PHOENIX, July 28 -- Universal Technical Institute, Inc. , a nationwide provider of technical education training, today announced that it has begun automotive training at its new Exton, Pa., and Orlando, Fla. campuses.

Encompassing approximately 160,000 square feet, the new Exton campus opened to students on July 19, 2004. UTI has received its state license to operate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Education.

In Orlando, Fla., UTI has also begun offering the automotive program at the site of its Motorcycle and Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI) campus. Earlier this year, UTI entered a long-term property lease agreement and has since received the permits necessary to construct a new 60,000-square-foot facility that will host the Orlando Automotive Technology program. UTI anticipates taking occupancy of the new facility, which is currently under construction, in the fall of 2004.

"These automotive program expansions address the growing technician needs of our industry customers in these specific regions," said Kimberly McWaters, president and chief executive officer of Universal Technical Institute, Inc. "These expansions are in line with our company's commitment to future growth."
