Motormite/Dorman Distributes Wheel Nut Torque Specification Poster

COLMAR, Pa., July 27 -- Motormite/Dorman distributed over 180,000 Wheel Nut Torque Specification Posters in the May edition of Tire Review, Brake & Front-End, Underhood Service, Import Car, and Tomorrow's Technician. It is just another one of the unique, new ways that Motormite/Dorman is promoting its new products, providing valuable technical information to the service dealer.

"We have had a great response to the poster," stated Bill Hanvey, Vice President of Marketing. "The torque poster serves two purposes: to promote the safety aspect of using proper torque specifications when installing wheel hardware, and reinforcing to the service dealer part categories that Motormite/Dorman now makes available in the Aftermarket." The front side of the poster is a guide that makes it easy for the service dealer to find the right wheel nut torque specifications for a given make/model car or light truck. Applications are color-coded to match the torque stick colors. The reverse side of the poster pictures various hard part product lines that Motormite/Dorman has introduced into the Automotive Aftermarket, such as plastic Intake Manifold Kits, Fluid Line Assemblies and Rear Axle Shaft Kits that were previously only available at the OE dealer.

The Dorman Wheel Nut Cover Tech Tray (part number 030-611) was also featured, and gained a tremendous amount of sales exposure.
