Axle Alliance Company Awards Supply Chain Contract to Menlo Worldwide Logistics; Menlo Worldwide Logistics to Manage Inbound Delivery, Warehousing and Just-In-Time Delivery

AUBURN HILLS, Mich.--July 26, 2004--Axle Alliance Company (AAC) has awarded Menlo Worldwide Logistics a contract to manage the inbound delivery, warehousing, shuttle, and just-in-time (JIT) delivery of components for front and rear axles produced at AAC's Redford, Mich. facility. The value of the contract was not disclosed. Menlo Worldwide Logistics is one of the supply chain service providers operating under the Menlo Worldwide(SM) brand. Menlo Worldwide is a subsidiary of CNF Inc. .

Menlo Worldwide Logistics will receive inbound parts from AAC suppliers in Brazil and Germany, warehouse the parts in Menlo Logistics' state-of-the-art Great Lakes Lean Logistics Center located in Brownstown, Mich. and then provide JIT replenishment delivery directly to AAC's production line in Redford.
