WheelsTV Announces New Programming

ACTON, Mass.--July 26, 2004--WheelsTV(TM), the first television network, VOD and broadband program service devoted exclusively to the world's fascination with cars, trucks and motorcycles, announced today it has begun the development, production and acquisition of new programming in preparation for its launch in 2005.

WheelsTV (www.wheelstv.net) will offer original and acquired programming with a consumer and enthusiast focus. Eighty percent of its content will be original programming, including magazine and lifestyle programs, documentaries, new vehicle profiles, how-to shows, automotive event coverage, automotive news, movies, action and reality series.

In addition to the network's slate of original, first-run programs, WheelsTV will use its extensive program library to support the launch. The library includes hundreds of hours of WheelsTV-owned programming, plus thousands of hours of topic-specific footage, both current and historical.

Among the original programs in production is the series "Motor of Fact," which will place viewers behind the wheel of an endless stream of new vehicles as they are put through their paces. Also in production are: "Hot Streets," a series that immerses viewers in the cars, music and fashions of the tuner scene; "True Top Speed," which features cameras riding with professional racecar drivers as they hit speeds in excess of 150 miles per hour on hidden test tracks; "Bet Your Car," an unusual and humorous game show.

All-new episodes of "Wild About Wheels," the multi-award-winning series that's recognized as the first-ever general-interest automotive series, are also in production. Having first aired from 1990 to 1992 on The Discovery Channel, Wild About Wheels was developed by the creators of WheelsTV and has now aired in over 100 countries, worldwide.

"We are excited about the upcoming launch of WheelsTV and have begun to put in place the programming elements necessary to make the network successful," said Jim Barisano, chairman and co-founder of WheelsTV.

"Our programming strategy will result in providing distributors programming that will support their digital, VOD, DVR, and Broadband businesses, while filling a consumer need for automotive lifestyle programming," said Greg Willis, SVP Network Development.
