Marzett Named Vice President of Human Resources and Administrative Services at DaimlerChrysler Services North America

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., July 26 -- DaimlerChrysler Services North America announced today that Janet Marzett has been named Vice President -- Human Resources and Administrative Services for DaimlerChrysler Services, effective immediately, in concurrence with the retirement of Thomas Guidugli.

Marzett, who has 24 years of field operations experience in the company, will be responsible for DaimlerChrysler Services North America's employee relations, employment, compensation and benefits, career marketing, personnel development and training, diversity and inclusion, organization planning and facilities services in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

"Janet was a champion for the development of more than 700 employees in our Dallas Customer Contact Center," said Juergen Walker, President and CEO of DaimlerChrysler Services North America. "She will continue her work in Farmington Hills to provide training and educational opportunities enabling employees to reach their full potential through a continuous evaluation of their talents and skills."

Marzett will report directly to Walker as a member of the executive management team. In her new position, she will direct the Human Resources' strategy for the company's 5,500 employees who manage a portfolio of $85 billion with nearly five million contracts.

Marzett has experience in several dealer credit and customer service- related disciplines, including Credit Analyst, Dealer Relations Manager and Zone Manager. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from the University of Texas.
