Industry Visionary Barry J. Glick Named President and CEO of ObjectFX; MapQuest.com Founder and Former CEO of Webraska To Lead Company

MINNEAPOLIS--July 22, 2004--ObjectFX, a leader in delivering dynamic location-enabled enterprise information services with SpatialFX, its innovative and patented 100% Java/J2EE enterprise software platform, today announced Barry J. Glick as its President and CEO. Glick is a recognized leader in the geospatial and related location-enabled information industry. He was a founder and served as CEO of MapQuest.com from its inception as a business unit of RR Donnelley and most recently had been CEO of Webraska Mobile Technologies, a worldwide leader in wireless navigation and location-based services.

Glick's background includes significant capital-raising efforts, along with new product delivery and a focus on responding to market needs and customer expectations. In addition to his CEO positions at MapQuest and Webraska, he has been a partner at Geocodex LLC, an intellectual property-based company in the field of location integrity, information access control and information security. He previously was a Principal of Carillon Ventures LLC and held senior-level management positions at Navteq, Spatial Data Sciences Inc. and PAR Technology Corporation. Glick holds PhD and BA degrees from the State University of New York, Buffalo and a Masters Degree from Cornell University.

In conjunction with Glick's appointment as President and CEO, Nick Thomey, who has served as interim President, has been named Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for overall management of the internal operations of the company. He also has direct responsibility for the company's commercial sales group and for administration, customer support and professional services. Thomey has been with the company since it's founding in 1994 and has been responsible for building its customer support and professional services functions.
