American Axle & Manufacturing Announces Sourcing of Passenger Car Program

DETROIT, July 22 -- American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. (AAM), which is traded as AXL on the NYSE, today announced that it has been selected by a leading global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to supply Independent Rear Drive Axles (IRDA) and Independent Front Drive Axles (IFDA) for a major future passenger car program with global implications. AAM is currently working with the OEM to design and integrate these driveline products for this program. At the request of the customer, additional details of this program cannot be disclosed at this time.
