David Prichard Joins Modine as Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications
RACINE, Wis.--July 20, 2004--Modine Manufacturing Company announced today that David A. Prichard has joined the Company in the newly created position of Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. He reports to Bradley C. Richardson, Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.Prichard will be responsible for investor and shareholder relations, internal and external communications, media relations, public affairs and issues management, marketing communications and corporate philanthropy.
Prichard brings to Modine more than 20 years of investor relations and corporate communications experience spanning the health care, chemicals, agricultural and telecommunications industries.
Prichard joins Modine from IMC Global Inc. of Lake Forest, Illinois, where he served as Vice President, Investor and Corporate Relations and a member of the management team since 1996. He served as Vice President of Corporate and Investor Relations for the former Vigoro Corporation of Chicago from 1995-96 and Equity Group Investments of Chicago from 1994-95.
He previously held senior investor relations and communications positions with Mallinckrodt Group Inc. (formerly International Minerals & Chemical Corporation) of St. Louis, Missouri and Abbott Laboratories of Abbott Park, Illinois.
Prichard earned a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Illinois.
Prichard is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and its Senior Roundtable as well as executive vice president of the Chicago Chapter of NIRI. He also is a member of the Investor Relations Council of the Manufacturers Alliance, the Communications Council of the National Association of Manufacturers, the Public Relations Society of America, and the International Association of Business Communicators. He is a director of The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago.
