Hiltz gains more points for Holgate Motorsports at Sutton
SUTTON, ONTARIO  For the second time in two weekends, the Holgate 
Motorsports duo of Innisfil's Brad LeLiever and Gilford's Ashley Hiltz have 
had strong weekends in the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship 
Presented by Toronto Star Wheels  but for LeLiever it would be the second 
weekend in a row that he'd like to forget.

"It's two weekends in a row that I haven't finished the final," LeLiever 
said. "I just can't get any good luck this year. Today I came around the 
final sweepers and it just started chugging. I thought I stuck it, but who 
knows, it just stopped with a lap or two to go." LeLiever was scored 18th 
overall.

On the other side of the coin was Hiltz, who recorded the fastest 
'unofficial' practice time, then qualified a strong eighth. Hiltz finished 
sixth in the pre-final, and then fourth in the final. "It was an excellent 
weekend for me," Hiltz said. "I was impressed with the chassis, and 
everything seemed to hook up well for me this weekend."

Team Principal, John Holgate was happy and frustrated at the same time. "It 
is a good result for Ashley, but to be honest it is very frustrating for 
Brad. He, like Ashley is working hard to get this team some results, but 
luck just isn't with him right now."


Special Note;
After returning from Sutton on Sunday night, John Holgate, Team Principal 
of Holgate Motorsports Inc. was informed that Holgate driver and major 
sponsor, Paul Gubasta was killed in a FV1200 at Shannonville earlier in the 
day. "This is a major shock," Holgate said. "Paul was one of the most 
polite and generous guys I know. This loss is devastating to not only our 
team, but Canadian Motorports in general. Paul was one of the good guys and 
right now, I am just loss for words about his passing. All of us send our 
condolences to his family."
