Honda sets up U.S. unit for aircraft engine business

TOKYO July 16, 2004; Japan Today reported that Honda Motor Co said Thursday it has established a wholly owned subsidiary in the United States to promote its aircraft jet engine business.

The new company, Honda Aero Inc, will begin operations, including negotiations with prospective customers, procurement and preparation of production, by the end of this year, Honda said. (Kyodo News)
