Workers at Kia Motors Approve Agreement on Employment Benefits
SEOUL, July 16, 2004; The Yonhap News Service reported that Union workers at Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest automaker, on Friday approved a tentative agreement on better employment benefits.
Company officials said 94.9 percent of the union's 25,443 members voted, of which 66.4 percent were in favor of the agreement, the second to be reached between union representatives and management.
