Raleigh Area Families to Compete in Exaggerated Real Life Games to Win Trip to New York City or Anywhere in the World

Raleigh Area Families Invited to Go for the Gold at 3v3 Soccer Tournament and

Compete in the 'Minivan Summer Games,' a Series of Real-World Competitions
                         Hosted by Chrysler Group

   What:     The Minivan Summer Games will test the speed, coordination and
             teamwork of families in a series of increasingly challenging
             events that typify the rigors and hectic pace of everyday life
             surrounding the minivan.

             Raleigh area families will be selected from 780 online entries
             to enter the competition for an opportunity to be named the
             2004 Minivan Summer Games National Champions at the National
             Games in New York City, N.Y. and win a Chrysler or Dodge
             minivan and a trip anywhere in the world.

   Visuals:  Fierce family competitions in the Semi-Final round include:

             --   Stow 'n Go Bonkers -- Players must scramble around the
                  minivan, against the clock, to close all the seats and
                  must then sort through a stack of oddly shaped cargo to
                  load the biggest items with the highest point values.

             --   Stuff Enough Stuff -- Contestants collect odd-shaped
                  objects and rush around inside the minivan to stow them
                  all out of sight.

             --   Water (cup) Polo -- Families run full-speed with cups
                  trying to keep them as full as possible and deliver them
                  into the cup holders as fast as possible.

   Who:      Numerous Raleigh area families that pass the online Qualifying
             Round will be chosen to compete in the live Semi-Final Games.

   When:     Saturday, July 17, 2004

   Why:      Raleigh was named one of eight Semi-Final competition locations
             throughout the country.  The family that demonstrates the most
             grace under pressure will advance to the National Games in New
             York City, N.Y.
