New Audi V8 Powered GMG Apollo Announced
A new exotic sportscar is being built in Germany by GMG Sportscar Manufacturing in Altenburg.
The project was envisioned by MTM, a respected Audi tuner.
The two-seater Apollo will be powered by a 4.2-liter Audi V8 engine, capable of 650 bhp which catapults the 1000 kg sportscar to a projected max speed of about 360 km/h.
The 4.25 meter long car ss built around a steel tubular frame strengthened with Chrome-Molybdane. Body is either GRP of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic.
First cars are to be completed later this year, while next year about 50 cars are planned to be produced with a price tag of EUR 115000-175000.
