--Chambers Corvette Racing Team to Participate in SPEED World Challenge Race This WeekendWHAT: Just four months ago, Wendell Chambers received a new heart at Stanford University Medical Center. This weekend, only days after receiving his doctors'clearance, Chambers will take center stage at the SCAA SPEED World Challenge GT and Touring car races at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. In tribute to the organization that helped save his life, the Chambers Corvette Team will feature the logo of the Coalition on Donation (www.shareyourlife.org). The Coalition on Donation is a not-for-profit alliance of national and local organizations across the United States, dedicated to inspiring all people to donate life through organ and tissue donation. Heart recipient Wendell Chambers said, "I am a very grateful individual who was near death when I got my new heart. I have a totally new perspective on life and would like to do whatever I can to help others in need." This is remarkable story of a man who got another chance at life and is continuing to live it at it's fullest. He will be available for on-site interviews at Infineon Raceway all weekend.
