AMI Semiconductor to Announce Second Quarter 2004 Results on July 29

POCATELLO, Idaho--July 15, 2004--AMIS Holdings, Inc. , parent company of AMI Semiconductor, Inc., will release its second quarter 2004 financial results for the period ending June 26, 2004, on Thursday, July 29, after the market closes.

The earnings release will be available on AMI Semiconductor's Web site at: www.amis.com/investor_relations/.

President and Chief Executive Officer Christine King and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Dave Henry will discuss the Company's earnings and operations via a conference call and live audio webcast at 5:00 p.m. ET.
