Chrysler to Use Delphi Satellite Radio Receivers in 11 Models of 2005 Vehicles

TROY, Mich. July 14, 2004; The AP reported that mobile audio electronics maker Delphi Corp. said Wednesday that Chrysler Group's decision to offer Delphi's satellite radio receivers in 11 models of 2005 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles will deliver a significant supply volume boost to the company.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Chrysler Group, a division of German carmaker DaimlerChrysler AG, first contracted Delphi two years ago to provide Sirius Satellite Radio-capable receivers for installation in North American vehicles.

Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. and Chrysler Group struck an agreement earlier this year to offer satellite radio as a factory-installed option in an effort to expand satellite radio's availability to car buyers, Delphi said.
