GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services Launches Electronic PM Reminders(SM)

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., July 13 -- GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services has introduced new email functionality for PM (Preventive Maintenance) Reminders. PM Reminders(SM) is an electronic notification sent directly to drivers via email to remind drivers when an oil change is overdue.

As a new enhancement to Fleet Services' Maintenance Management auto/light truck program, PM Reminders(SM) is an efficient way to reach drivers through email to remind them to change the oil in their company vehicles. The notification provides details as to the number of days since the last oil change and the number of miles driven past the recommend oil change schedule.

PM Reminders(SM) is an effective tool to emphasize the importance of changing the oil in fleet vehicles on a regular basis. The routine inspection during the oil change screens for potential issues which extends the life of the vehicle's engine, helps reduce unnecessary maintenance costs, increases resale value and saves customers' money.
