Delphi Introduces First Marine Application For Plug & Play Satellite Radio

Delphi Marine Kit increases portability of the Delphi XM SKYFi, the industry's best selling satellite radio receiver

TROY, Mich., July 13 -- Delphi Corp. announced today the introduction of the Delphi XM SKYFi Marine Kit, the industry's first plug & play satellite radio package for marine applications, designed to be compatible with the Delphi XM SKYFi, the most versatile satellite radio on the market.

The Delphi XM SKYFi Marine Kit allows users to experience XM satellite radio through their SKYFi receiver (sold separately) while cruising through the waters. Delphi's Marine Kit includes the hardware and installation instructions enabling users to install satellite radio on virtually any boat in just minutes!

For splash proof protection, the Delphi XM SKYFi Marine Kit features a UV- treated cradle cover, which helps users see the display while helping protect their SKYFi receiver. A wireless FM adaptor with a conformal-coated circuit board, allows users to experience more than 120 XM channels of revolutionary programming including news, sports, traffic, weather and 68 commercial-free music stations through their boats' existing FM radio.

The Delphi XM SKYFi Marine Kit will be available at select US retailers beginning this month for approximately $200 MSRP.

Since 2002, when the first SKYFi receiver was offered in the retail market, Delphi has sold more then one million plug and play satellite radio (morereceivers. In addition Delphi has sold more than 1.6 million original equipment satellite radio units.
