RINGERS GLOVES WEEKEND WRAP-UP

Indianapolis – (July 12, 2004) The stars of the NASCAR Busch Series and
NASCAR Nextel Cup Series were busy racing over the weekend in the “Windy City” at
Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill.

NEMCO Motorsports’ Joe Nemechek did the double-duty on Saturday and Sunday
in both NASCAR races.

Nemechek piloted his NEMCO Motorsports Cellular One No. 87 on Saturday in
the Tropicana Twister 300.

Nemechek retired early from the race with a blown engine and posted a 31st
place finish.

On Sunday, Nemechek jumped into his MB2 Motorsports U.S. Army No. 01
Chevrolet and posted an eighth place finish, his second top-10 finish in two weeks.

Penske Racing South driver Ryan Newman, the defending Tropicana 400 race
winner, didn’t fair too well in Chicagoland.

After having a solid eighth place qualifying run, Newman cut a tire on lap
18 and nursed his battered ALLTEL/Mobil Speedpass No. 12 Dodge behind the
wall for repairs.

55 laps later, Newman and his crew were finished making repairs and he
returned to the track for a 34th place finish.

As the field restarted from Newman’s caution, Newman’s teammate, Brendan
Gaughan, experienced mechanical problems and also had to retire to the garage
for repairs.

Gaughan eventually made it back out and finished 30th, 26 laps down.

Rusty Wallace was the only driver in the Penske Racing South stables to
finish the race on the lead lap.

Wallace came across the finish line in 11th place.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series raced under the lights at Kentucky
Speedway in Sparta, Ky., on Saturday night in the Built Ford Tough 225 presented by
the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers.

The Ringers team of Orleans Racing and driver Steve Park qualified 12th on
Friday and drove to a sixth place finish in Saturday’s race.

Orleans Racing heads to St. Louis this weekend for the Missouri-Illinois
Dodge Dealers Ram Tough 200 at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill.

The Champ Car World Series took to the streets on Toronto in the Molson
Indy Toronto on Sunday.

Newman/Haas driver Sebastien Bourdais scored his second win in two races,
as Ringers team PKV Racing scored a second-place finish with driver Jimmy
Vasser.

Other Ringers notables were Rocketsports Racing driver Alex Tagliani,
seventh; Mi-Jack/Conquest Racing driver Justin Wilson, 12th; PKV Racing driver
Roberto Gonzalez, 13th and Newman/Haas driver Bruno Junqueira, 18th.

Ringers driver Brad Ellingson brought home two wins over the weekend in
the SCCA Central Division Firecracker Double Regional hosted by the Blackhawk
Valley Region at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.
