Roseann Stevens Joins Metaldyne as Vice President, Sales & Marketing

PLYMOUTH, Mich., July 12 -- Metaldyne announced today that Roseann Stevens has been appointed Metaldyne's new vice president of sales and marketing, effective June 28, 2004. George Thanopoulos, Engine Group president and executive champion of sales, made the announcement.

In this position, Stevens will be responsible for leading the sales effort throughout the company. She will report to Thanopoulos and the President's Council.

"We are excited to welcome Roseann to Metaldyne," said Thanopoulos. "She has an extensive sales background within the industry, and her experience in the global automotive marketplace will be a great asset to our team as we expand our presence around the world."

Stevens comes to Metaldyne from Visteon Corporation, where she has worked since 1997 in various positions with increasing responsibility including, sales director, North America region; vice president, global OEM accounts; and most recently, vice president and general manager for the General Motors and Alliance Partners customer business group.

Prior to Visteon, she worked in various sales-related positions with companies such as Lear Corporation and Automotive Industrie, Inc.

Stevens holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Detroit, and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Detroit-Mercy.

Stevens will hold an office at Metaldyne's corporate headquarters in Plymouth, Mich.
