JOEY SCARALLO SCORES ANOTHER TOP-TEN; FINISHES SEVENTH AT TORONTO
 
TORONTO, Ontario (July 10, 2004) ­ Joey Scarallo, driver of the No. 06 ROH
Wheels/Group A Autotrend/Toyo Tires Chevrolet Corvette, finished seventh in
todayıs Trans-Am in T.O., Round 5 of the Motorock Trans-Am Series, in
Toronto. Scarallo finished just behind teammate John Baucom, driver of the
No. 86 Ford Mustang.

³The first 10 laps were good,² said Scarallo. ³We had a tremendous start,
passing my teammate, John Baucom, and Randy Ruhlman on the back
straightaway. Everything was pointing to another top-five finish, but weıre
happy with seventh.

³We struggled all weekend with the setup. We werenıt able to get a handle on
the chassis and it cost us some horsepower,² added Scarallo. ³The Baucom
crew worked hard, but it just didnıt happen as we had hoped.²

Scarallo teamed with Baucom Motorsports this year. Baucom Motorsports also
fields the No. 86 Ford Mustang driven by owner/driver John Baucom. The
Baucom crew is preparing Scaralloıs car for the 2004 season.

³We have had a successful run here lately, but with four back-to-back races,
it has been tough on everyone, especially the crew,² said Scarallo. ³Thereıs
no doubt Iıll be back in the top five again. I still have to achieve my goal
of a podium finish this year.²

A long-time racer, Scarallo has been in the driverıs seat since he was 11,
racing karts in the Long Island Karting Association, where he won three
championships in 1993.

Scarallo also won championships in the International Karting Federation in
1996, and he recorded three top-ten finishes in the U.S. F2000 where he
finished 14th in series points. He ran a limited schedule in 1997, scoring
11th- and 12th-place finishes in his three starts. Scarallo competed in the
Toyota Atlantic Series in 2000.

Born in Adelaide, Australia, Scarallo, 25, lives in Smithtown, N.Y. Scarallo
manages Autotrend Tire and Wheel Company Inc., his familyıs wheel importing
business and the only US distributor of ROH Wheels.
