Molson Indy Toronto
Round 6 of 16

Michel Jourdain, #9

Qualified 12th 59.584/106.035 mph

Gigante driver Michel Jourdain will make his eighth start at the Molson Indy Toronto from 12th place on the grid, his first
with RuSPORT.

Michel Jourdain

"We need to make improvements on the Gigante car so that we can run a consistent race tomorrow.  There
are not too many places to pass on this course.  The back straight is one possibility, but it's still very difficult.
Turn 3 has normally been a place for incidents at the start of the race.  Hopefully, we can run a steady race
and take advantage of the opportunities that come our way."

Jeremy Dale, Team President

"It was a tough day for Michel.  The Gigante car was quite good in qualifying yesterday and they've gone down
a path with the car that Michel is not happy with.  They've got to regroup to get the car back to where he's
more comfortable.  Michel put in a big effort today in terms of driving the car to post the speed that he did.  He
needs something a bit more drivable and I'm sure they'll get back there."
