Joey Scarallo Qualifies Seventh in Toronto

]JOEY SCARALLO QUALIFIES SEVENTH IN TORONTO

TORONTO, Ontario (July 9, 2004) ­ Joey Scaralloıs qualified seventh Friday
for Saturday Trans-Am in T.O., Round 5 of the 2004 Motorock Trans-Am Series
championship. Scarallo, driver of the No. 06 ROH Wheels/Group A
Autotrend/Toyo Tires Chevrolet Corvette, recorded a time of one minute,
13.593 seconds at an average speed of 85.851 miles per hour.

³I closed the speed gap, but didnıt move up in positions,² said Scarallo,
who was also seventh in morning practice today. ³The car wasnıt bad, but it
needs some adjustments. The team learned a couple of things while on track.

³Weıre in good shape,² added Scarallo. ³The car wasnıt what I wanted it to
be, but Baucom Motorsports will make the required changes in time for
tomorrowı warm up.²

Scarallo teamed with Baucom Motorsports this year. Baucom Motorsports also
fields the No. 86 Ford Mustang driven by owner/driver John Baucom. The
Baucom squad is preparing Scaralloıs car for the 2004 season.

Scarallo will stick to his original goal this weekend of bringing home a
fourth consecutive top-five finish.

³I am really excited about tomorrowıs race,² said Scarallo. ³I still think I
can finish on the podium. Iıd love to bring home a podium for my sister
Jenniferıs wedding Sunday.²

A long-time racer, Scarallo has been in the driverıs seat since he was 11,
racing karts in the Long Island Karting Association, where he won three
championships in 1993.

Scarallo also won championships in the International Karting Federation in
1996, and he recorded three top-ten finishes in the U.S. F2000 where he
finished 14th in series points. He ran a limited schedule in 1997, scoring
11th- and 12th-place finishes in his three starts. Scarallo competed in the
Toyota Atlantic Series in 2000.

Born in Adelaide, Australia, Scarallo, 25, lives in Smithtown, N.Y. Scarallo
manages Autotrend Tire and Wheel Company Inc., his familyıs wheel importing
business in Lindenhurst, N.Y.
