Hi-Tech Engine Components to Supply the Alliance Group
SAN ANTONIO, July 6 -- Richard H. Morgan President & CEO for the Alliance group (a.k.a. Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper) announced today that Hi-Tech is now an official supplier of engine kits to the group. He added that while the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance already has a strong engine parts program in place, the addition of Hi-Tech will complement the existing component coverage and more than double the number of engine kits available.
Founded independently in the 1970's, Auto Value, Bumper to Bumper and All Pro merged to form 'The Alliance' in January of 2000. In 2003, stores identifying themselves as All Pro/Bumper to Bumper became simply -- Bumper to Bumper. The Alliance is now one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in the world. The group includes over 4,000 parts stores and 2,000 certified service centers located throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Northern Mexico.
Lonnie Mayne, V.P. of Sales for Hi-Tech, concluded that his company is proud to be associated with such a strong group. "By utilizing our unique programs, such as innovative marketing, low cost overnight delivery, unsurpassed product coverage and superior technical support, we can and will help the Alliance members grow their total sales within the engine parts category."
