Thomas T. Stallkamp Resigns as Chairman at MSX International; Continues on Board of Directors
WARREN, Mich., July 1 -- MSX International, a global provider of technical business services, has announced the resignation of Thomas T. Stallkamp as chairman of the board, effective June 30, 2004. He remains a member of the board of directors.
Prior to being named chairman in late 2003, Stallkamp joined MSXI in 2000 as chief executive officer, vice chairman and a member of the board of directors. During this period, Stallkamp helped the company address changes in its automotive business and expanded the company's focus into new businesses. Prior to joining MSXI, Stallkamp retired from DaimlerChrysler and its predecessor, Chrysler Corporation, where he served in a variety of senior management positions including president and vice chairman.
In a statement, Stallkamp said, "This change comes at the right time for MSXI and myself as I continue to pursue my other interests. I thank the ownership and board of directors of MSXI for the experience in helping change the direction of the company. I believe that its current position in outsourced business services will continue to be a strength as the company looks to serve new markets as well as its traditional customer base in automotive."
Reflecting on the change, Robert Netolicka, chief executive officer and president of MSX International, commented, "On behalf of the MSXI board and management, I thank Tom for his guidance and help over the past years. We are fortunate that he will continue to remain on our board to continue to provide access to his knowledge and experience."
