Stuart Energy's SHOW - The Renewable Hydrogen Roadshow - Brings Its 2004 Traveling 'Festival Within A Festival' to the Marin County Fair, July 1-5

LOS ANGELES, June 30 -- SHOW -- The Renewable Hydrogen Roadshow -- was conceived by hydrogen energy pioneers Stuart Energy as a dynamic means to promote sustainable living practices and bring environmental awareness to the general public within the context of a cultural and music experience. Launched as a California-based, touring "Festival Within A Festival," SHOW premiered June 12-13 at Santa Rosa's award-winning Health & Harmony Festival.

Next week, from July 1-5, SHOW stages its second major appearance at the massive Marin County Fair, where attendance is expected to exceed 100,000 over five days. Now in its 59th year, the Marin County Fair is located on Civic Center Drive off Highway 101 in San Rafael, CA. In recognition of July 4th, the Fair will feature a nightly fireworks celebration.

Within this larger fair, SHOW's hub incorporates a concert stage and surrounding, interactive multi-media exhibition space inside a 60'-diameter geodesic Eco-Dome. Presentations focus on hydrogen, renewable energy, hydrogen vehicle and distributed power applications, and the growing world hydrogen infrastructure. Informing as it entertains, Stuart Energy's SHOW is inspirational, with an eye to the future, and practical, presenting lifestyle models that can be implemented now.

Under President/CEO Jon Slangerup's leadership, the Stuart Energy team has established the company as the undisputed brand and market leader for on-site hydrogen infrastructure solutions based on water electrolysis. Their mission is to pioneer and remain the world leader in the design, marketing, and delivery of such zero-emission technologies, working for progress in areas including energy security, climate change, and air pollution.

One of the many examples of Stuart Energy's groundbreaking work to be illustrated at SHOW is their installation of hydrogen fueling stations across California, including ones that support Toyota's Fuel Cell Vehicle Community Program. The Toyota Highlander FCHV, Toyota's prototype hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, will also be on site.

Another major SHOW component is the Renewable Stuart Energy Station (SES), a water electrolysis-based hydrogen station utilizing solar electricity to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen. Solar Integrated Technologies (SIT) will display their unique solar canopy that will power performances on the Eco-Dome stage. The canopy will also fuel the SES system, highlighting the ways in which solar-powered hydrogen energy systems and vehicles will become part of more and more homes and businesses over the coming years. Daily at 2PM, Stuart Energy's Jon Slangerup and SIT's Richard Schoen and Art Athas will lead a renewable hydrogen energy panel discussion in the Eco-Dome. Included on the panel are speakers from resident transit agencies who will provide an overview on local Bay Area hydrogen bus programs.

The Eco-Dome will also feature live performances from top recording artists who are volunteering their time to promote health and the environment. Performances are scheduled twice daily, late in the afternoon and evening [times t.b.d.].

Stuart Energy has enlisted Earthdance: The Global Festival For Peace -- the worlds largest synchronized dance and music event -- to produce the entertainment portion of SHOW's visionary program. Earthdance has been called "the Live Aid for new millenium," and in addition to sourcing DJs and music acts for the Eco-Dome stage, and providing synergistic decor and ambience, their team will engage new age scientists and other new paradigm and environmentally activist speakers to participate.

Stuart Energy and SHOW are at the forefront of many ideas that may seem futuristic at first, but renewable hydrogen solutions are becoming globally acknowledged as the "energy end game." Jon Slangerup commented, "We hope that SHOW will help Californians and other festival attendees gain a greater insight about the future of the Hydrogen Economy, and where we are all headed with various near-term government and industry initiatives." After Marin, SHOW will travel to the Monterey County Fair in Monterey, CA, August 17-22, with additional dates to be announced shortly.
