Mazda6 Zugara Receives Special Treatment and Offers Smartnav for Free

CRANFIELD, England, June 30 -- The Mazda6, Auto Express 2003 customer satisfaction winner, is likely to make its customers even happier. Mazda is launching the special edition, Mazda6 Zugara, a high performance saloon car that will come fitted as standard with Smartnav, an advanced satellite navigation system.

Smartnav, developed by Trafficmaster, is also an Auto Express winner, acclaimed with Satellite Navigation System of the Year 2004. It is easy to use and offers a range of in-car services. One press of a button on the dashboard connects the driver to a Smartnav PA, a live operator who provides 24-hour support. The PA takes down destination details and puts them into a central computer, which then calculates the optimum route, using Trafficmaster's traffic data taken from over 7,500 sensors monitoring 8,000 miles of motorways and trunk roads. The route is then downloaded into the car within seconds and the driver is given clear turn-by-turn verbal instructions throughout the journey, whilst continuously guiding them around traffic.
