Dario Franchitti on the Argent Mortgage Kansas Indy 300:
"Although I haven't raced at Kansas Speedway, I did do a half-day test there last year.
In fact, it was my final time in the car before my back surgery. So, it's a track that not totally new
to me, although it's another one that I haven't raced on. The ArcaEx team won at Kansas last
year; it was a great job by Bryan (Herta) who filled in for me. Also, we had good success at
Texas and the Honda engine has proven to be very powerful. That will help us this weekend."

Allen McDonald, Race Engineer,
#27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone, on the Argent Mortgage Kansas Indy 300:
"We is coming off of good races at Texas and Richmond, and the ArcaEx car had a good
race in Kansas last year, with Bryan (Herta) winning. So, we have two good race setups to build
on. With the regulation changes, there are some challenges and, although Dario did test there
last year, he didn't turn that many laps. So there will be some acclimation for him, as well. We're
coming off a very strong run at Richmond this past weekend and are going into the Kansas
weekend with a very positive view and, hopefully, we'll have a strong qualifying effort and a good
race."
