ANDERSON CONTINUES HOT STREAK!
Rock Hill, S.C. – (June 29, 2004) Chicago Pneumatic (CP), manufacturer of
high quality automotive, construction and industrial tools and Greg Anderson keep
“pulling the trigger” in NHRA Pro Stock competition in 2004!
After failing to make it past first round eliminations at Englishtown last
weekend, Greg Anderson wasted no time on getting back to his winning fashion
at the Eighth annual NHRA Sears Craftsman Nationals at Gateway International
Raceway on Sunday.
Steve Johns made his first final round of the year and put up a fight
against Anderson.
Unfortunately, Johns didn’t have enough for Anderson and fell to Anderson’
s 6.726/204.98 mph run.
NHRA takes two weeks off before heading to the Mopar Mile High Nationals
in Denver, Colo.
Chicago Pneumatic would like to extends its deepest sympathies to Darrell
Russell's family, friends and the Joe Amato Racing team.
Russell was fatally injured Sunday during second round eliminations in a
crash at the finish line.
A trust fund has been established for the Russell family in Darrell's
honor.
