Airgo Systems Announces North American Distribution of Its Tire Inflation System With Midwest Utility

EDMOND, Okla.--June 28, 2004--

Midwest Utility Makes Significant Commitment to Airgo Systems in North America, Including a Special Introductory Offer to Customers From June 25 to August 25

Airgo Systems, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of commercial tire monitoring, maintenance, and inflation systems and a member of the Dominion Group of Companies, was selected by Midwest Utility, Inc. as the tire inflation system provider of choice for its customers.

Midwest Utility, based in Burr Ridge, Illinois, is the fifth-largest volume dealer for Utility Trailer Manufacturing. Utility markets exclusively through its 80+ dealers in North America. All Midwest Utility customers, many of whom are Fortune 100 companies, rely on guidance from Midwest Utility when selecting option content for their trailer fleets. Midwest Utility's customers have fleets as large as 30,000, requiring high-volume, repeat sales of trailers and trailer equipment.

"We don't make commitments lightly, but we feel the AIRGO System is the best the industry has to offer," said Ralph O'Donnell, co-founder, Midwest Utility. "Established in 1990 as a dealer, we've sold thousands of tire inflation systems at Midwest Utility and have found shortcomings that vendors have been reluctant to address," he continues. "It's evident the Airgo team listened to the field and addressed a significant portion of the issues in a tire inflation system that other vendors hadn't tackled."

Specifically, Ralph highlights the fact that there are no moving parts in the AIRGO(R) System's air delivery system, from the axle through the wheel end.

"If it doesn't move, it doesn't wear out, so there are fewer possibilities for problems with the AIRGO System," said Ralph. "When tire inflation systems are installed and operating properly, life is good. The problems arise in aftercare, trying to find service or parts when a driver is on the road... things always seem to breakdown on the road, far away from service centers."

Midwest Utility also points to other attractive features with the AIRGO(R) System, such as its serviceable design, which means it is compatible with many OEM products available industry-wide, allowing for quick and easy service without special tools or equipment, in the garage or on the road.

"We look forward to working with Midwest Utility to provide tire inflation systems to our customers," said Dale Lane, Director of Sales, Airgo Systems. "Airgo's design team worked extensively with commercial trucking industry fleets to understand how existing commercial tire inflation systems meet or fall short of industry demands and it's rewarding to know this work will pay off by enabling Midwest Utility to offer the highest-quality and reliable system possible to its customers."

The AIRGO(R) System includes the following features.
