BAM! - Mid-Ohio race

solid finish

BAM! finished a difficult American Le Mans Series race week at Mid-Ohio
Sports Car Course with a solid race performance. Leo Hindery, Jr. and Peter Baron
combined to finish eighth in the GT class on the 2.25-mile Lexington, Ohio road
course. More important, their No. 43 YES Network Porsche 911 GT3 RSR is
intact and ready for next week's race at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Conn. Porsche
factory driver Lucas Luhr will join Hindery for that race.

Hindery started the two-hour 45-minute Mid-Ohio race from 12th on the GT
grid. He moved up to 10th before handing off to Baron at 1h14. Baron gained two
more positions during his stint, to finish eighth in class.

Peter Baron

"It was a real long stint out there - I couldn't believe there was only one
yellow [caution period] in the whole race. The crew did a great job with the
fuel strategy; we ran out of gas on the last lap and went to the reserve. I was
just starting to get my rhythm toward the end of the stint and getting to a
respectable pace. But most important, the car ran the entire stint on the
Michelin tires without degrading at all, so it's good to start this road trip with a
car that's in decent shape and works well on tires. It should be good to pass
on to Lucas and Leo at Lime Rock."

Leo Hindery

"I thought it was a pretty good race. We came back untouched, and there was a
lot of 'fun' stuff going on out there. I wish we had been in the top five or
six, but this is a tough, tough class to do well against. We were eighth
against the best drivers in the world, so Peter and I should be pleased. Peter ran
well, I ran well, the car is untouched, so we go to Lime Rock and it's a lot
easier on the guys than if we'd wrecked it."
