GMAC/Trenton Forging/PR Machine Works #5 GTO Finishes Strong 15th
Hayner Wins The Sunoco Hard Charger Award

Lexington, Oh – June 27, 2004 Showing sure signs that their program is
moving in the right direction, Stu Hayner’s GMAC / Trenton Forging /
PR Machine Works #5 GTO picked up a 15th place finish after starting
25th in today’s SPEED World Challenge GT race at the historic Mid Ohio
Sports Car Course. In only their third race, this was the new team’s
best finish to date.

“Man, there were lots of parts flying out there,” grinned Hayner after
the race. “The car is really starting to show signs of being
competitive. Rob Wanamaker [Crew Chief] and the guys have really done a
fantastic job. They never say quit. We’re going to make a few changes
before we head out west to Infineon and Portland... so the crew will be
right back at it tomorrow morning. I think it’s a 5-day turnaround and
they’re back on the road. Developing a new car and a new program is a
much tougher job than people realize. David Moxlow [Trenton Forging]
deserves all the credit in the world. He’s committed to this program
and it’s starting to show.”

“It was nice to receive the Sunoco Hard Charger award too,” continued
Hayner. “We got about 115 friends, family and customers of our
sponsors, GMAC Commercial Finance, PR Machine Works and Trenton
Forging, up on the 5th floor of the Goodyear Tower. I’m glad we could
put on a good show for them.”
