GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services Introduces Safety Select(SM) - Comprehensive Accident Management Program

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., June 22 -- GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services introduces the most comprehensive safety and accident services program in the industry. This umbrella of safety, prevention and accident services products is Fleet Services' new Safety Select(SM) product.

Safety Select(SM) is comprised of an enhanced Driver Safety program, new motor vehicle record products, and an all-encompassing Accident Services product. "It is essential to view safety, accident prevention and accident services as a whole as opposed to the traditional way of viewing them as individual programs and services," said Anna Durham, general manager maintenance and safety services for GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services. "Because motor vehicle crashes are the leading causes of work related deaths and injuries, we believe approaching safety and accidents from an overall perspective is important to help keep our customers' drivers safe."

Safety Select(SM) integrates Fleet Services' robust accident prevention and safety program with CEI's best-in-class risk and safety services, to offer GE customers the most comprehensive motor vehicle record (mvr) collection and analysis product in the fleet management industry. Both mvr and mvrPlus provide customers with a simple, web-based solution to manage the collection of authorization forms necessary to obtain driver's driving records, or mvrs, from a state. The program also manages the process of obtaining, standardizing the scoring and storing of reports on driver mvrs to give fleet managers an easy way to assess potentially risky drivers. In addition, mvrPlus takes both mvr and historical accident information to provide a complete risk analysis of their drivers and can automatically send remedial training to drivers that fall into pre-defined "at-risk" categories.

Safety Select(SM) takes accident prevention and management to a new level by providing services to ensure customers have well-trained drivers to managing authorization and collection of motor vehicle records to providing a seamless, hassle-free accident recovery process.
