Hyundai Motor Union Votes to Go on Strike

SEOUL June 22, 2004; Reuters reported that unionized workers at South Korea's top auto maker, Hyundai Motor Co, voted on Tuesday to launch a strike, a spokesman for its labor union said. "The vote passed with 69.66 percent support," Chang Gyu-ho said by telephone, without elaborating.
