SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 21 -- Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information, today announced that Jesse Toprak, Director of Pricing and Market Analysis for Edmunds.com, will be speaking at the 2004 Automotive Leasing Management Forum. The Chicago event being held June 22-23 will encourage automotive industry leaders to assess current market activities in an effort to build strategic leasing, resale, and remarketing plans for 2005 profitability.

Toprak will be speaking on Tuesday, June 22, at 4:45 p.m. at the Wyndham Chicago on "Coping with Incentives: Is There Visibility for Leasing on the Horizon?" He will address:

      * Current Market Conditions
      * Incentives Strategy and Trends
      * Leasing Trends
      * What's Next

Toprak is a recognized expert in analyzing the automotive industry and regularly comments on automotive trends for media outlets nationwide.

"Our data indicates that leasing incentives are growing in popularity as a way to drive dealership traffic to aging inventory," said Toprak. "Leasing incentives on midsize cars and luxury SUVs have increased significantly over the past twelve months while minivans and luxury cars, segments with many new model introductions, have kept consumer interests high and have lower average leasing incentives than at this time last year."
