Plexus Systems Appoints Jane L. Warner President

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 18 -- Plexus Systems today announced the appointment of Jane L. Warner as president effective immediately. Warner joins Plexus, a leading provider of web-based manufacturing software, from EDS where she was president of its Global Manufacturing Industry Group.

"Jane brings tremendous insight and leadership to our rapidly expanding company," said Rob Beatty, chairman and founder of Plexus Systems. "She has extensive experience in information technology and has worked on both the supplier and OEM side of the business. This experience gives her a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges of the manufacturing industry."

Warner was Executive Vice President for Textron Automotive and President of Kautex North America prior to joining EDS. She began her career at General Motors where she held several executive level positions in manufacturing and engineering. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Michigan State in Business and Education and a Master's in Management from Stanford University.

Plexus Systems provides software to manufacturing companies which allows them to access to all critical information real-time. Over 300 integrated modules of software range in use from a total ERP system to niche applications such as warranty traceability, problem control, or an automated EDI release system. The software replaces multiple applications currently in use and integrates into any larger ERP system. Key customers include American Axle, Metaldyne, GKN, Eagle Pitcher and a large number of mid-sized companies.

"Plexus Systems' unique, integrated set of web-based modules address all critical challenges inherent in the manufacturing industry today," said Warner. "I am thrilled to be a part of the company and look forward to contributing to its success in the market."

Plexus Systems, formed in 1995, is privately held and based in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
