Chrysler to Highlight More Than 50 Years of Automotive Excellence at the Indianapolis Concours d'Elegance

* Chrysler will be featured as the automotive title sponsor of the 2nd annual Indianapolis Concours d'Elegance on June 19 * 'Chrysler Row' will feature twenty vehicles, ranging from the 1949 Chrysler Town & Country to the 2005 Chrysler 300C * Evening of Angels, on June 18, will benefit the Christel House, a local and worldwide charity, which assists impoverished children break the cycle of poverty

INDIANAPOLIS, June 17 -- Chrysler is the title automotive sponsor of the 2nd annual Indianapolis Concours d'Elegance, which features the best of classic cars, fashion and art. The event will be held on Monument Circle in the center of downtown Indianapolis on Saturday June 19th, the day before the U.S. Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Event goers will have an opportunity to walk "Chrysler Row" and see twenty Chrysler vehicles, representing the best of Chrysler design and engineering over the past 50 years, as well as visit Chrysler's Club 300 and see first hand the legendary HEMI(R) engine and other entertaining exhibits.

"Chrysler's history in Indiana dates back to the early part of the 20th Century and since then, we have been committed to supporting the economic vitality of the many communities where we have manufacturing facilities and dealerships," said Jeff Bell, Vice President - Chrysler. "The Indianapolis Concours d'Elegance is not only a chance for Chrysler to showcase some of its best past and present vehicles, but also gives us a chance to give back to the community and support a very worthwhile cause."

Among the historic vehicles that will be on display on "Chrysler Row" are the 1949 Chrysler Town & Country, 1951 Chrysler Windsor, 1955 Chrysler C300 and 1960 Chrysler 300F as well as the Pronto Spyder, which debuted as a concept car in 1998.

In addition, Chrysler will display some of its newest models including the:

* 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser convertible - The lowest-priced four-passenger convertible in the U.S.

* 2005 Chrysler 300C - The hottest car in America and the perfect combination of elegance, confidence, power and value.

* 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Coupe and Roadster - The Chrysler signature design combines with proven engineering.

Club 300 will give consumers an opportunity to learn about the brand and its vehicles with unique displays and presentations, including an engine display showcasing Chrysler's own legendary Hemi.

On Friday, June 18, the evening prior to the Concourse festivities, organizers will hold "The Evening of Angels," a black-tie charity gala to benefit Christel House, which creates social impact learning centers in neighborhoods to help children break the cycle of poverty and become self- sufficient and contributing members to society. The event will be held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral from 6:30 p.m.-10 p.m.

The launch this year of the Chrysler 300, Chrysler Town & Country, Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible, and Chrysler Crossfire Roadster and Crossfire SRT-6 continues the Chrysler brand's rapid-fire product offensive and decade- long growth. Chrysler brand sales have increased 109 percent over the last 10-years -- from 221,990 to 463,590. The Chrysler brand's objective is to grow market share and brand image through its elegant designs, inspired engineering and exceptional value.
