ARCA ANNOUNCES STAFF PROMOTIONS

TOLEDO, OH-ARCA President Ron Drager has announced several key personnel promotions as part of a formal restructuring of ARCA's full time administrative staff.

 

Those involved and their new titles include: Joe Wells, 47, Vice President Competition. Wells has been an ARCA official for nearly 30 years, most recently as competition director and ARCA RE/MAX Series director. 

 

Mark Gundrum, 41, Vice President Marketing & Communications. Gundrum has worked full time in motorsports administration since 1985 in weekly track management and with ASA.

 

Jim Clarke, 68, Vice President Special Projects. Clarke first raced in ARCA sanctioned competition in the 1960s and has been an ARCA official for over 30 years, most recently serving as marketing director.

 

Gundrum will manage a department headed by Don Radebaugh, Director of Public Relations & Media and Daren Havens, Director of Marketing.

 

"As the motorsports industry grows and evolves, ARCA is positioned to maintain and further solidify the vital role we've played for 52 years," said ARCA President Ron Drager. "These key personnel announcements reflect that commitment."

 

ARCA's activities in 2004 includes 85 events in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series, Toledo Speedway in Ohio and Flat Rock Speedway in Michigan.
