MOPAR'S HUBINETTE READY FOR RELIANT CENTER CHALLENGE

Center Line, Mich. - This weekend in Formula Drift Championship competition
in Houston, Mopar driver Samuel Hubinette and team Lateral G Racing are poised
to recreate the upset they staged at the Drift Atlanta event just a mere two
months ago. This time, though, Hubinette is set to put the Mopar Dodge Viper
Competition Coupe through its paces at the Reliant Center - home to the 2004 NFL
Super Bowl. Saturday, however, the facility will set the stage for a heated
battle of another type - one featuring smoke, squealing tires and thousands of
horsepower.

Though Hubinette, who is a native of Sweden, and his team took a strong
position of leadership during the Drift Atlanta event, the "Crazy Swede" knows that
he'll have his hands full as the series heads into the second round of
competition this weekend.

"It will absolutely be tough to win this weekend in Houston," Hubinette said.
"The rest of the competitors left Atlanta with a better sense of what the
judges are looking for in the Formula D Series. They went back to their shops and
worked on perfecting their maneuvers for the Houston event. I believe we're
going to see some great drifting this weekend because of these preparations."

Fans can expect Hubinette and the Mopar Dodge Viper Competition Coupe to put
on an outstanding show of their own, though, as Mopar's hotshoe learned a lot
about his own vehicle during the Drift Atlanta event.

"We knew from the beginning that the Viper is a much heavier car than some of
the models that our competitors use in competition," Hubinette said. "From
competing in back-to-back events at Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca, I've learned
that I needed to work on the grip of the car. I've also had much more seat time
in the Viper, which has helped us plan our strategy for this weekend. We also
learned as a team what our positions needed to be during race times, and
we'll be much more fluid and cohesive as a team this weekend. We're looking
forward to putting our knowledge to use."

Hubinette and the Lateral G Racing team will compete in the Formula Drift
segment of the Drift Houston event to be held this Saturday, June 12, 2004, at
the prestigious Reliant Center in Houston, Texas. For more information on Team
