Dashboard Confessional Award Their Customized Honda Civic to Louis Carsia of Peoria, AZ
VENICE, Calif.--June 9, 2004--Prior to their headlining concert at the Mesa Amphitheatre on Tuesday, June 8, as part of Civic Tour 2004, Dashboard Confessional awarded Louis Carsia of Peoria, AZ, one of the customized and autographed Honda Civics that they personally designed. Carsia was among the lucky contestants who won a chance to randomly select a key that could start the Dashboard Confessional Civic through a contest with Phoenix's top alternative station 103.9 The Edge. While Carsia was the lucky winner whose key started the engine, all of the contestants were awarded a pair of tickets to that night's show as well as the opportunity to meet Chris, John, Scott and Mike of Dashboard Confessional."This by far has been one our best tours, to be able to give back to our fans and for them to be so receptive and excited to win something we've created is amazing," said Chris Carrabba, frontman of Dashboard Confessional.
Fans still have even more opportunities to win one of the nine remaining customized Civics designed by Dashboard Confessional through upcoming media promotions as well as the "Drive Away With" national sweepstakes at civictour.com.
Created and produced by Marketing Factory, Inc., Civic Tour is a unique promotion where music fans can catch their favorite acts at a great low-ticket price, with this year's tour bringing the lowest price to date.
