Eaton Completes Purchase of Powerware Corporation
CLEVELAND--June 9, 2004--Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced the completion of its purchase of Powerware Corporation, the power systems business of Invensys PLC (LSE:ISYS). The $560 million transaction was announced April 27, 2004.Powerware, based in Raleigh, N.C., is a global market leader in Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), DC Power products and power quality services. Its products, solutions and services have a wide range of commercial, industrial, governmental and institutional applications.
