LE MANS, France, June 9, 2004 - Petersen Motorsports proudly announced
the redesign and launch of its new team web site,

at the Circuit Des 24 Heures Du Mans. The site for the American Le Mans
Series (ALMS) and 24 Heures Du Mans GT class competitors will provide
fresh and up-to-date news and photography from each race the Las
Vegas-based operation participates in beginning at this weekend's 24
Heures Du Mans. PetersenMotorsports.com has been designed by
Atlanta-based AVID Design, Inc. in cooperation with the Petersen
management. The new site takes the lead as one of motorsports' most
exciting and user friendly internet locations through its innovative
design and layout. The design draws significantly from the instantly
recognizable paint scheme of the Westward Ho Casino/ MMPIE/ PAWS/
mail2web.com/ Michelin Porsche that has been an ALMS fixture since 1999.


 

Team owner and driver Michael Petersen, of Las Vegas, has had
substantial input in the design of the new site and will have a regular
question and answer forum and other features for fans in the "Petersen"
section of the high-energy web site. Other sections include news and
photo galleries, driver biographical information for Petersen as well as
David Murry (Cumming, Ga.) and Craig Stanton (Long Beach, Calif.), team
member bios, background information on team corporate partners, the
team's Porsche 911 GT3 RSR and the team itself. Visitors will also be
able to link to an ever-growing selection of Petersen Motorsports/ White
Lightning Racing-branded merchandise available for purchase and special
Petersen web exclusives. Additional features will be added regularly in
the upcoming months.

Petersen Motorsports/ White Lightning Racing begins practice today for
the June 12-13 24 Heures Du Mans with an eye towards returning the
Michael Petersen-owned Porsche to the Le Mans victory lane for the
second consecutive time.
