Tony Kanaan on the Bombardier 500:
"I'm looking forward to Texas. It's obviously a very fast race track and one where you
have to find the edge. But, I like that. You have to have a car that goes fast and that's it. Texas
is all about speed. I'm sure the racing there will still be very close and very exciting, so it should
make for a very good show. I came about as close as you can come to winning without winning
in this race last year, so hopefully this year we can finish the job in front of everybody in
7-Eleven's backyard."

Eric Cowdin, Race Engineer,
#11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone, on the Bombardier 500:
"The racing at Texas has obviously been extremely close in the past, but I think it may
be even closer this year, if that's possible. The rules have changed a little bit aero-wise and we
also have the 3.0-liter engine this time. I expect the racing to be as good, if not better, than it
has been in years past. The IRL has developed what they think will be the best package, and
what they've done is give the fans the best racing they can. That's what Texas is all about."
