Motion Industries' Wayne Law Named Executive Vice President Purchasing and Distribution

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--June 8, 2004--Motion Industries, North America's leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts, is pleased to announce that Wayne Law has been named executive vice president purchasing and distribution, according to Bill Stevens, Motion Industries' president and CEO.

Most recently, Law served as senior vice president, corporate purchasing and distribution. In his new role as executive vice president, Law will continue to lead the company in the areas of distribution centers, product suppliers and operations support. Law has also served the company as vice president operations and assistant to the president. Prior to joining the corporate group, Law served as regional manager in the West division and branch manager in the Southeast division. Law has been with the company since 1968.
