Qualifying
Friday, June 4, 2004
The Time Warner Cable Roadrunner 250
Round 3 of 16
Michel Jourdain, #9
Qualified 9th 20.862/178.085 mph
Michel Jourdain
"We keep making big improvements, but this is a tough, close grid. The progress we make with every race is
encouraging. Tomorrow is a very, very long race and the important thing is to be good in traffic, consistent,
and have good pit stops. We have to make some changes to the car for the race and hopefully we chose the
right ones."
Jeremy Dale, Team President
"Michel did tonight what a veteran does which is to make the most of what he had. He really pulled a lap out
there in qualifying that was a tremendous performance. Having said that, I think that tomorrow will be a good
day for him. Being good on the ovals is a lot about experience and having Michel's experience behind the
wheel for the team is invaluable."
