Diamond Powersports Prepares for Exponential Growth
CEO Pierre Elliott Featured in a Nationwide Conference Call
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 4 -- Diamond Powersports Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: DPWS) is pleased to announce that CEO Pierre Elliott hosted a nationwide conference call to update the financial community on the current business conditions and future prospects of Diamond Powersports.
In the conference call, Mr. Elliott described Diamond Powersports as "one of the top 3 sport bike parts manufacturers in America. By next year Diamond Powersports will be the number one Frame Slider manufacturer in America."
Diamond Powersports has grown exponentially from four employees one year ago to thirteen at present. Mr. Elliott feels that "business must grow little by little so we don't get overwhelmed to where we cannot provide exceptional service to everybody. The introduction of new products as well as the ability to maintain sales of existing products creates growing revenues."
Currently, Diamond Powersports retains seven distributors and hopes to announce within the next couple of days the addition of wholesale distribution giant Tucker Rocky. "With distribution comes financial growth," explains Mr. Elliott.
"With gas prices rising explosively, the more economical way to travel is by motorcycle and scooter. These rising prices help the motorcycle industry tremendously," commented Mr. Elliott.
Diamond Powersports recorded sales for May 2004 of $125,611, up 33% from sales of $94,166 during May 2003. In addition, Diamond Powersports' gross profit increased by 59% from just $50,670 in May 2003 to $80,614 for this past May. This last quarter was the best quarter for revenues and profits in Diamond Powersports' history. Mr. Elliott foresees $1.4-$1.5 million in sales and revenues this year.
As of right now, Diamond Powersports is not a candidate for acquisition. Mr. Elliott stated, "There are too many opportunities to acquire other companies now. An acquisition would have to be right for this company and right for the shareholders. The future of Diamond Powersports is bright. I'm here because everybody helped me get here."
