Quantum Awarded Contract From Major Automaker to Develop a Unique Hydrogen Fuel Delivery System for Fuel Cells
IRVINE, Calif., June 3 -- Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. , announced today it has been awarded a $1.4 million contract by a major automotive OEM to develop a unique fuel cell vehicle hydrogen fuel delivery system. This technology adaptation will allow precise flow of hydrogen into the vehicle's fuel cell power module enabling optimized system performance. This technology incorporates Quantum's patented gaseous fuel injector and proprietary control software.

The design of this proprietary fuel delivery system is based on Quantum's expertise in advanced gaseous fuel metering and control technologies and is targeted to meet extremely stringent automotive safety and performance standards, and ultimately consumer performance & driveability expectations for fuel cell vehicles.
