Pat Grounds Appointed Executive Director of Program Management at S-Y Systems Technologies America, LLC

DEARBORN, Mich.--June 2, 2004--Pat Grounds was appointed Executive Director of Program Management for S-Y Systems Technologies America, LLC, a Siemens VDO Automotive (AG) and Yazaki Corporation joint venture company supplying electrical and electronic distribution systems, announced Robert Crumley, president.

Grounds was formerly Executive Director of Quality at S-Y Systems America; prior to that, he was the North America Director of Quality Systems for Siemens Automotive.

"Grounds is responsible for leading S-Y Systems team of program managers in supporting Ford Motor Company with attentive service, responsiveness to design and schedule changes and the timely delivery of quality products," noted Crumley.

Grounds is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering. He resides with his wife and three children in Ortonville, Michigan.
