American Axle & Manufacturing Announces Executive Appointments

DETROIT, June 2 -- American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. (AAM), which is traded as AXL on the NYSE, today announced the following executive appointments:

Yogendra N. Rahangdale has been appointed executive vice president, Operations & Planning. Previously Rahangdale served as executive vice president & Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

David C. Dauch has been appointed senior vice president, Commercial. Previously Dauch served as senior vice president, Sales, Marketing & Driveline Division.

John J. Bellanti has been named vice president, Engineering and CTO. Prior to his current appointment Bellanti served as vice president Engineering & Product Development

Marion A. Cumo has been named vice president, Driveline Division. Previously Cumo served as vice president, Program Management & Launch.

Richard F. (Rick) Dauch has been named vice president, Metal Formed Products Division. Prior to his current appointment, Dauch served as vice president, Investor Relations.

Allan R. Monich has been appointed vice president, Program Management & Launch. Previously Monich served as vice president, Forging Division.

Steven J. Proctor has been appointed vice president, Sales & Marketing. Previously Proctor served as executive director, Sales & Marketing.

Michael K. Simonte has been named vice president & Treasurer. Previously Simonte served as Treasurer.

Michael C. Flynn has been appointed executive director, Sales - GM/Delphi. Previously Flynn served as director, Sales - GM/Delphi.

John E. Jerge has been appointed executive director, Labor Relations. Previously, Jerge served as director, Labor Relations.

Inacio N. Moriguchi has been named executive director, Manufacturing Services - Metal Formed Products Division. Previously Moriguchi served as executive director, Manufacturing Services - Forging Division.

Steven G. Gregerson has been named director, Sales Strategy. Previously Gregerson served as director, Worldwide Programs.

Stephen Jeske joins AAM as director, Sales - DaimlerChrysler & Ford.

Dr. Robert Karban, Jr., has been appointed director, Manufacturing Services. Prior to his current appointment, Karban served as director, AAM Manufacturing System.

Robin Kendrick has been named director, Sales - Metal Formed Products Division. Kendrick previously served as director, Sales - Forging Division.

Karl P. Kimmerling joins AAM as director, Business Development.

Brian McPartlin has been appointed director Driveline Programs, SPO/Aftermarket, Marketing & Sales Administration. Prior to assuming his current position, McPartlin served as director, Driveline Advanced Programs Administration.

John C. Salter joins AAM as director, Asia Sales.

Christopher M. Son has been named director, Investor Relations. Previously Son served as manager, Investor Relations.
